Media you download or process
Downloads: when you download from a public link, Vidlora fetches the media, uploads the finished file to temporary cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), and gives your browser a link that expires after 1 hour — the storage bucket itself automatically deletes anything left after 1 day as a backstop. Your browser downloads directly from that expiring link; Vidlora's own servers don't keep a separate copy. Tools: every processing tool (compressor, trimmer, converter, resizer, cropper, merger, GIF converter, metadata viewer, frame extractor, and the rest) uses temporary local processing only — your uploaded file and the processed result exist only for the duration of the job, are streamed directly to your browser, and are deleted immediately afterward. Nothing you upload to a tool page is ever stored in Cloudflare R2, Amazon S3, or any other persistent storage.
Automatic cleanup
Successful jobs are deleted as soon as the result is delivered to you. Failed or cancelled jobs are deleted immediately. A periodic background sweep also removes any processing files older than a short safety window, in case a job is abandoned mid-way (e.g. you close the tab) — this is a safety net, not a deliberate retention period.
Transcripts and AI summaries
Video transcription and summarization use OpenAI's Whisper and language-model APIs. The resulting transcript/summary is cached for up to 1 hour so that the free-preview and pay-to-unlock flow can work without re-processing the same video twice in a row — it is not stored indefinitely and is not linked to any account, because Vidlora doesn't have accounts.
Payments
One-time payments (unlocking higher-quality downloads, TikTok downloads, or a full transcript/summary) and card tips are processed by Stripe. Vidlora does not see or store your card details — Stripe handles that directly. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how it processes payment data.
Cookies and advertising
Vidlora shows ads through Google AdSense. Before any advertising or measurement script loads for a visitor where consent is required (e.g. the EU/EEA and UK), a Google-certified consent management platform (Google Funding Choices) asks for consent, and Google's Consent Mode v2 defaults every relevant signal to denied until you respond. You can accept, reject, or manage your choices at any time through that same consent banner. Vidlora does not run a separate analytics/tracking script of its own.
Server logs and IP addresses
Like most web services, Vidlora's infrastructure logs basic request data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and abuse-prevention purposes (for example, rate-limiting to stop one visitor from overwhelming the service). These logs are operational and are not cross-referenced with the media you process.
Your rights
Because Vidlora doesn't require an account and doesn't retain your media beyond the processing described above, there's generally no stored personal data tied to you to request, correct, or delete once a job completes. Changes to this policy
If Vidlora's processing or storage practices change, this page will be updated to accurately describe the new behavior — this policy is written to match what the product actually does, not the other way around.
