How it works
How cropping works
Crop Video removes pixels from the edges of each frame, keeping only the rectangular region you specify (position and size), and re-encodes the result at the new, smaller frame size.
Common uses
Cropping is useful for removing black bars, changing aspect ratio (e.g. widescreen to square/vertical for social posts), or focusing on part of the frame.
Limitations
Uploads are capped in size for reliable processing, and only MP4, MOV, WEBM, MKV files are accepted here. For very large files or advanced editing needs, dedicated desktop software may work better.

You specify the exact position and size in pixels, so the crop is pixel-accurate to what you set.
Can I crop and resize at once?
