Vidlora is a free, browser-based platform for working with online video and audio — downloading from public links, and processing your own files with a growing set of tools.
What Vidlora does
Vidlora started as an online video/audio downloader for public links from sites yt-dlp supports (YouTube, TikTok, X, Facebook, and others). It has grown into a broader set of tools: compressing, trimming, converting, resizing, cropping, merging and extracting audio from video, reading file metadata, extracting frames, and AI-powered transcription and summarization.
How processing works
Downloads use yt-dlp to fetch the source, then deliver the result through a short-lived, expiring link — not a permanent library. Every other tool (compress, trim, convert, and the rest) runs on temporary storage only: your file is uploaded, processed with FFmpeg, streamed back to you, and deleted immediately afterward. Privacy philosophy
Vidlora is built around not keeping your media. Tools don't require an account, don't watermark your files, and don't build a library of what you've processed. Processing state (which job is running, its progress) is tracked only for as long as needed to deliver your result.
How Vidlora differs from a basic downloader site
Most video-downloader sites do one thing. Vidlora combines that with a real media-processing toolkit — the same temporary-processing, no-account philosophy applied to editing and converting files you already have, not just files from a URL.
What we don't claim
Vidlora is an independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with YouTube, TikTok, Meta, X, or any other platform it can fetch from. Users are responsible for only downloading or processing media they own or are authorized to use.
